Oxfam Trailwalker UTMB INDEX registration

Hello, this is Oxfam Trailwalker.

Oxfam Trailwalker awarded the UTMB Index to the finishers, which is one of the qualifications for participating in this year's global trail running competition, UTMB. 

UTMB (Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc) is a course that starts from Chamonix, France and passes through 19 cities in Switzerland and Italy. It is the world's largest trail running competition, with more than 10,000 trail runners from around the world participating. 

The UTMB INDEX presented by Oxfam Trailwalker this year is eligible to participate in the UTMB World Series competition.
Only those who complete the course will receive a valid UTMB index corresponding to the distance completed. Oxfam Trailwalker awards a 100k index to those who complete 100km, a 50k index to those who complete 50km, and a 20k index to those who complete 25km.

<UTMB Index Issuance/Confirmation Procedure> 

If you would like to receive a UTMB index, please apply according to the following procedures.

1. Sign up for UTMB site: Open a UTMB account and log in at the site below. 
   https://utmb.world/
   (When signing up, the email address and English surname/first name must be the same as when applying for Trailwalker for the INDEX to be applied.) 

2. When applying for a team, please enter the same English name/first name registered with UTMB.

3. After Oxfam Trailwalker ends, you can check it on the UTMB site with the ID you signed up with.

FAQ 

Q. Do all four team members have to complete the race to receive it?  

A. Even if some of your team members give up and become individual finishers, you will still receive the UTMB index.

Q. I applied for 100K and gave up on 50K, will I be able to receive 50K?  

A. It is issued only to those who have completed the course they applied for. 

Q. Why does a 25K stock get a UTMB index of 20K?

A. UTMB index types only consist of 100K/50K/20K. So, for 25km stocks, only a 20K index can be issued.

Q. If I receive a UTMB index, can I participate in UTMB in France?

A. You can participate in the UTMB World Series competition with the UTMB Index.  If you complete the World Series competition, you can obtain Running Stones, and by collecting Running Stones and Indexes, you can apply to participate in the UTMB Competition.
